Centre State Drilling is a Central Victorian based water boring & drilling business located approximately 1 hour 30 minutes north of Melbourne in Castlemaine. We have been in continuous operation for over 35 years, operating 3 Drilling rigs and various ancillary pump related equipment.

Originally started by Jack McMahon, the company has become a family owned and operated business that has continued to steadily grow and expand. Jack was first involved in the drilling industry in the 50’s with the advent of sampling and pressure cementing underground aquifers for the Snowy Rivers Hydroelectric Scheme. Jack’s son Dan became involved in the business in the mid 80’s and has helped grow and expand the business over the years.

Utilising water divining skills, we can offer a no water- no charge service to our clients, virtually eliminating any risk associated with finding underground water.

Centre State Drilling has been working closely with two pump suppliers/installers for many years. Mr Ken White, of Whites Electric Motor service. Ken is based in Kilmore, Victoria and is contactable on 5782 1927 or 0408 343 984. We have found Ken to a be highly professional, experienced reliable contractor working to a very high standard and so have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him as preferred pump suppliers/installers/repairers.
